So you want to know a little bit about me? Okay, first and foremost, i am a born-again Christian, but i will tell you that i am not one of “those” kinds of Christians who beats people over the head with the Bible and i do not shove scripture down people’s throats. I started this blog at the very strong urging of a good friend of mine, who thought i had a lot to convey to people.  My goal in doing this, is to only reach ONE person, whoever that is, and make their life a little better.  It is not my job to save anyone or the world; but if can accomplish helping ONE person, then i will call this an overwhelming success.

In a nutshell, i am just a small town woman with small town morals and values.  I absolutely believe in all the freedoms that we have.  I warn you that i am brutally honest about everything i write about, because i am brutally honest in all aspects of my life.  I am not cruel or mean, or at least, i don’t believe that i am. I just have the guts to say what most people won’t dare utter, in public or otherwise. Those who know me well, know that i can get on a soapbox on quite a few subjects, but that is ONLY because i am so passionate about that subject. I know that, like all of you, there are several things that just bug the living heck out of me. You should probably know, too, that i do not write drafts for my blogs.  I think of something to write about and then just start typing.  Whatever comes out, that’s what ends up on the page.  I am a single parent of a 16 year old (boy this is fun ) and have been a single parent for all of his life.  I guess that is just about it. 

I just started blogging so i am a newbie i guess.  I invite all of you to leave comments good, bad or indifferent..i just ask you that they are honest opinions.  I can take constructive criticism very well.  And to be honest, your feedback will only improve my skills in blogging.  I have lived quite a life, and have a lot of experiences to share.  If you have any VIABLE subjects you would like to get my opinion on, i would appreciate those as well.  However, i will warn you to be very careful in doing so; only because you will get my opinion, but it may NOT be what you want to hear.  So do not then turn around and attack me for my opinion.  If you ask for it, you ARE going to get it.  I am not afraid to express anything.  I am the kind of person that if a situation is happening and it is wrong, say someone getting verbally attacked by others (mostly kids), or an angry man at a kids basketball game complaining to the female ref (who shut him down quick), or any situation where something so wrong is happening, i am the first one to jump in and either deescalate the situation or stop it.  I am not afraid of what others will do.. if someone is being wronged on any level, i will stand up for them, whether i know them or not.  I hope that this gives you a feel for the kind of person i am.  I appreciate those who actually take the time to read my blogs..to you i say THANK YOU!!!
